Most students find their own internships, working with individuals and/or businesses they admire. Students ideally should be toward the end of their studies to fully benefit from an internship. Students may take BCST 165 for college credit (2) When enrolled in 5 credits + 2 for the course for a total of 7 credits or be a paid intern under California State Law. Digital Image Intern, Golden Gate National Parks, Fort Mason

This vast park extends across three Bay Area counties and includes amazing places such as Alcatraz, Crissy Field, Fort Funston, Marin Headlands, and Muir Woods. By becoming an intern, you will have the opportunity to experience these spectacular parklands first hand, behind the scenes and in depth. SF Camerawork, San Francisco
SF Camerawork is seeking undergraduate or graduate-level interns. An internship experience at SF Camerawork is a great opportunity to get involved in the Bay Area photographic arts community. As an SF Camerawork intern, you will learn about nonprofit arts administration, gallery operations, programming, exhibition development, and much more.
In addition to general duties, possible areas of specialization include: administration & finance, art handling & installation, education events organization, event planning, membership, technology/web, and curatorial support.
Commitment: One day per week, Tuesday – Saturday, 11:30 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a great opportunity for hands-on assisting, studio workflow experience, and learning business practices of a successful photography agency.
